There is a new feature in WordPress where you can rate blog entries and pages. To do this, click on the title of the post, then you will see “Rate This”. It’s a scale of 1-5. If would like please rate some of my blog entries, so that I can see if they’re good or not. Thanks.
Once again it’s the start of a new hurricane season. According to Wikipedia, this is what NOAA is predicting for this season:
9-14 Named Storms
4-7 Hurricanes
1-3 Major Hurricanes
I’ve created a PowerPoint Presentation about hurricanes. It contains just about everything you need to know about them. It also includes things you should do in case you have to evacuate your home. Take a look at it, it has all of the important facts about hurricanes. It’s available in PowerPoint and PDF formats. At the end of the season I will have the results. If you look below, this is what the PowerPoint looks like. You may download it if you want to.
You may comment on how you like the PowerPoint on my blog. I want to know how you liked the PowerPoint.
I’ve reached another mild stone on my blog. I’ve reached the 3,000 mark since I’ve started blogging in April 2008. That may not seem a lot to you, but it’s a lot to me. Thanks for viewing my blog, and keep on viewing.
Finally, I’m able to have my movie of my trip available to the public. The video is broken up into three parts, because of the max. of 10 min. To view my videos go to the Costa Rica tab on the top of this page, or go to: dturner91.wordpress.com/costarica. To visit my Youtube page with other videos, go to: www.youtube.com/turne377.
Check out my zip lining photos while I was in Costa Rica. I had a lot of fun doing this. I recommend everyone doing this. It may be scary at first, but you’ll get used to it as you keep going. To see the photos, click the link at the top of the page called “Costa Rica Trip” or click here.

Here are some example of spirals done by students in Mrs. Berry’s Graphic Communications 2 Class. There are assignment was to make a design using the color theory: 1 warm color, 1 cool color, 1 tertiary, 3 complimentary, 1 primary, 1 secondary. And 2 of their own design.
I made a video on how to make really cool spiral designs in Adobe Illustrator. For part of my Senior Project, I’m letting my Graphic Communications teacher do this with her classes. The students have to create 8 spirals using the color theory. Here are what the spirals would look like. The video goes with the first spiral below, the second spiral, and many more, can be found at this website.
